Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program (Government-funded)

Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program, a part of the Fullbright program, offers a fantastic opportunity for young professionals from developing countries to study in the United States for ten months.

Through non-degree graduate study and related practical experience, participants in the program will gain invaluable skills and knowledge that they can use to improve their home countries.

The new Long-Term English (LTE) language training program offers an opportunity to improve communication in English for minority, rural, or non-elite individuals who lack the required language skills but are outstanding in their field.

The pre-academic training program for those who wish to participate in the Long-Term English program is an intensive 20-25 week course which focuses on enhancing language skills.

The scholarship includes tuition fees, a monthly maintenance allowance, living expenses, airfare, and professional expenses such as field trips.

Fulbright- Nehru Fellowships (Government-funded)

The Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship is an excellent opportunity for international students pursuing a master’s or PhD degree. This scholarship covers tuition fees, accident and sickness insurance, airfare, and living expenses, making it a great way to help fund your education.

As a PhD student, you will receive a monthly stipend to help cover your education costs. For other educational levels, the grant amount and duration may be different. As far as visa support is concerned, it supports only J-1 visas.

AAUW International Fellowships (Non-Government scholarship)

The AAUW International Fellowships offers fellowships to outstanding international women students who wish to study and conduct research in the United States. This highly competitive program supports graduate and post-graduate students enrolled in accredited institutions within the United States.

The scholarship amount for a Master’s or First Profession degree ranges between $5,000 to $18,000, and for a Graduate or Postdoctoral is $18,000-$30,000

The scholarship may be renewed in the second year of the Master’s degree or First professional degree. 

It also supports up to five international fellowships.

The YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship is an opportunity for international students to show their initiative and interest in promoting intercultural exchange activities. By submitting an essay or video, students can demonstrate their dedication to making a difference in the world.

This scholarship is a great way to welcome international students into the US higher education system and show them they are valued community members.

You can apply for two annual and renewable scholarships that cover 50% of tuition fees for selected international undergraduate programs.

Your essay or multimedia project should highlight the leadership skills that you may wish to apply during your time at the university. By doing so, you will demonstrate your commitment to positively impacting the campus and developing your skills as a leader.
